Pet Society is an online social game by Playfish played via social networking sites such as Facebook, Bebo, MySpace, etc. Pet Society is a virtual world in which players adopt virtual pets, care for them, play with them, etc.

Players can purchase clothing, furniture, toys, decor, etc. with coins earned by doing various activities (visiting friends, racing, gardening, etc.) and personalize their pets’ homes and gardens (where one can plant flowers, vegetables and trees) as a way of self-expression. The social aspect is achieved by visiting friends’ pets’ homes to see what they’re wearing, what they’ve done with their place, etc.
